How do I troubleshoot the Badge Designer in Conference Tracker when it will not let me resize the objects?

This issue is rather common due to the vast amount of choices you have available in Internet browsers and add-ons nowadays.  Engineerica recommends using Mozilla Firefox and/or Google Chrome for your best results when managing your Conference Tracker account.  We have noticed that with certain browser add-ons and/or if the browser is pulling from previous versions of the Conference Tracker website you may have issues resizing the text-boxes and image-boxes while designing the badges.  To help troubleshoot this issue we have a quick process you can follow to ensure that you can edit the badges in time for printing them for your conference:
  1. Clear your browser's cache
    I know this sounds as cliche as asking you to "power-cycle your device" but this may help clear any old versions of the ConfTrac.com website lurking in the cache.
  2. Disable the browser's add-ons
    This option will allow you to disable each add-ons to determine which one may be causing the issue when editing the badge design.  Every add-on serves a purpose to help either save you time with logins, display special forms of web-content, and more but they can also sometime affect these specialized website tools in unexpected ways too.
  3. Refresh your browser's settings
    Sometime there may be a setting you configured to work with a specific web-application that is different than the defaults in your web browser and this process will reset back the defaults to rule out any issues with browser settings.
  4. Uninstall/Re-install your browser or install a new one
    This is a last resort but it may be necessary if you have exhausted all other options.  Remember we recommend using Mozilla Firefox and/or Google Chrome for your best results when managing your Conference Tracker account so if you have not tried them out it may be best to download and install one of them
